A Different Approach to Dog Training

Every dog learns through consistency.

While training sessions are important, meaningful progress happens through repetition, structure, and clear communication over time.

Day Train is designed to provide your dog with focused, individualized training throughout the week while allowing them to continue living at home with the people who matter most.

Instead of simply teaching behaviours during a single lesson, we spend multiple days each week building practical skills, developing confidence, improving communication, and preparing your dog for everyday life.

Because your dog returns home every evening, you’ll have the opportunity to reinforce what they’ve learned through coaching, guidance, and everyday routines.

The result is a training program that supports both ends of the leash—helping your dog learn while giving you the knowledge and confidence to continue that progress at home.

A Day in the Program

Every training day is planned around your dog’s individual goals, learning style, and progress.

Training may include:

• Structured walks
• Engagement and relationship building
• Household manners
• Confidence building
• Neutrality around distractions
• Impulse control
• Real-world training outings
• Basic obedience (sit stay, down stay, place, recall)
• Marker words for clear communication
• Structured rest and decompression

Day Train is a training program, not a daycare service. Every day is intentional and designed to help your dog succeed.

Day Train Requirements

Before applying for Day Train, please ensure your dog meets the following requirements:

• Vaccinations: Dogs must be up to date on required vaccinations.
• Crate training: Dogs must be crate trained and accustomed to spending time comfortably in a crate.

Not crate trained? That’s okay — crate training can be incorporated into your dog’s Day Train training plan. However, if crate training is a significant area of focus, it may make up a substantial portion of your dog’s training time with me. This means there may be less time available to work on other training goals during the program.

Crate training also requires consistency outside of Day Train. Reinforcement at home will be an important part of continuing your dog’s progress and helping them become comfortable and confident with the crate.

Day Train is designed to build skills that can be continued at home, so your involvement and follow-through between training days is an important part of your dog’s success.

Your Role

While I’ll spend the day working with your dog, you are the most important part of this program.

Long-term success doesn’t happen because your dog spends time with me. It happens because the skills we build together become part of your everyday life.

Each week, we’ll meet for a one-on-one coaching session where you’ll learn what your dog has been working on, why we’re teaching it that way, and how to confidently continue that progress at home.

My goal isn’t just to train your dog—it’s to give you the knowledge, skills, and confidence to lead them long after their program has ended.

• Are looking for daycare.
• Want someone else to do all of the training for you.
• Are unable to commit to practicing at home.
• Require intensive behavioural rehabilitation beyond the scope of this program.

Pricing

Niigaanii K9 Day Train

$2,495 + cost of recommended training equipment

Your Program Includes:

• 16 structured training days (Monday–Thursday for four weeks)
• Only one dog enrolled per four-week program
• Six hours of training each day
• Three private owner coaching sessions (Weeks 1, 3 & 4)
• Individualized training plan
• Personalized home practice and training guides
• Weekly progress reports
• Videos of your dog’s training and progress
• Access to your personal Roveio Client Portal
• Ongoing support throughout the program via the client portal or text
• Consultation fee credited toward the program upon acceptance

Consultation

A consultation is required before acceptance into the program.

Consultation Fee: $130

If your dog is accepted into Day Train, your consultation fee will be credited toward your program.

• 50% deposit is required upon acceptance to secure your dog’s spot.
• The remaining balance is due on or before your dog’s first day of training.
